A SOUNDabout device can stream audio from any source to an ordinary Bluetooth audio device, or to another SOUNDabout device using the eSBC codec for increased quality.

  • At home:
    • Send sound from a digital media source (such as a set-top box) to speakers in another room
    • Send music from a digital media source (such as a PC or MP3 player) to a home stereo system
    • Send music from an analog or digital entertainment console to wireless rear surround sound speakers
    • Listen to television on stereo headphones
  • Outdoors:
    • Listen to sound from a portable audio device on wireless headphones (for both telephone and stereo)
    • Send music from an indoor audio device to patio speakers or headphones
  • In the car:
    • Listen to your mobile phone with your car audio system or a wireless headset
    • Send music from a portable music source (an MP3 player, PDA, etc.) to the car stereo system
